Luxury Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van With 4 Living Areas Redefines Modern Van Life

Luxury Mercedes Sprinter Camper Van

The camper van industry is changing rapidly, and today’s luxury conversions are offering far more than just a place to sleep. From smart storage solutions to full kitchens and spa-style bathrooms, modern vans are becoming comfortable homes on wheels. One of the latest examples comes from Nook Vans, which has transformed a Mercedes Sprinter 170 EXT AWD into a premium camper designed for long road trips and off-grid adventures.

Built for a retired couple who wanted to travel across the United States with their dog, this custom camper van combines comfort, style, and practicality. The owners requested four separate living zones, plenty of storage, and all the comforts of home without sacrificing mobility.

Nook Vans, a Los Angeles-based camper van company, specializes in creating practical yet luxurious mobile homes. Founded by Kyle Fishburn, the company focuses on thoughtful design instead of unnecessary features. Its goal is simple: to build camper vans that feel like hotel suites on wheels.

This particular project is based on the Mercedes Sprinter 170 EXT AWD, one of the largest Sprinter models available. The extra length allowed designers to create a spacious interior while maintaining a clean and minimalist layout.

The couple who commissioned the van wanted a vehicle capable of handling long cross-country trips between Minnesota and California. They also wanted enough room to entertain guests and travel comfortably with their pet.

Inside the Camper Van: Four Distinct Living Spaces

At first glance, the van looks surprisingly simple from the outside. Finished in Selenite Gray, it features only a few clues that reveal its true purpose, including roof-mounted solar panels, an awning, and side windows.

Inside, however, the story is completely different.

Unlike many camper conversions that rely on wood framing, Nook Vans used aluminum construction to reduce weight and improve durability. The interior is divided into four main zones: a lounge, kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom.

The living area serves as the heart of the van. Two custom benches face each other, creating a comfortable space for relaxing, dining, or spending time with friends. Large windows and the sliding door bring in natural light, making the interior feel open and airy.

The front seats swivel around to become part of the lounge, while a removable dining table and a large TV add extra functionality. Hidden storage compartments under the seats provide space for gear, shoes, and even dog accessories.

One of the most impressive parts of this Mercedes Sprinter camper van is its fully equipped kitchen. Unlike compact setups found in many vans, this kitchen is designed for people who spend weeks or months on the road.

The space features custom cabinets with bamboo finishes and white countertops, giving it a modern look. It includes:

  • Dual induction cooktops.
  • A large refrigerator and freezer.
  • A hidden sink and faucet system.
  • An air fryer and microwave combo.
  • A coffee station and toaster storage.
  • A wine drawer.
  • Foldable countertops for extra workspace.

There is also plenty of storage, including overhead cabinets, pantry space, soft-lined drawers, and dedicated trash and recycling compartments.

These practical features allow owners to cook full meals while keeping the van organized during long trips.

Full Bathroom and Comfortable Bedroom Complete the Setup

Toward the rear of the van sits Nook Vans’ signature “Utility Spa” bathroom. Built using lightweight aluminum panels, the bathroom includes a shower with teak flooring, a removable dry-flush toilet, and a stainless-steel sink.

To make daily routines easier, the designers also added a mirrored medicine cabinet and waterproof charging outlets for personal devices.

Above the lounge area is an elevator-style queen-size bed with a thick mattress and generous headroom. Special wall-mounted lights double as portable flashlights, making late-night walks with the family dog more convenient.

The minimalist interior design helps the space feel larger than it actually is. Light bamboo surfaces, a kitchen skylight, and a three-zone lighting system create a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

As luxury camper vans continue to evolve, this custom Mercedes Sprinter conversion shows just how comfortable life on the road can be. With four dedicated living spaces, premium finishes, and clever storage solutions, it offers everything needed for extended adventures without giving up the comforts of home.
